Accident at Kingsbury and Highway 50

A three-car pile-up at Kingsbury Grade and Highway 50 is slowing traffic at 4:30 p.m. today.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is reporting injuries at the accident located at Douglas County's busiest intersection.

At least one person is claiming back and neck injuries in the accident.

Snow has been reported falling at Lake Tahoe as a winter storm warning went into effect at 4 p.m. The warning is expected to last until 4 a.m. Tuesday, leaving wet slushy snow on roadways. The National Weather Service is warning motorists to slow down and allow extra time when traveling.
