Ranchos top retirement area in country

The Gardnerville Ranchos has been named the hottest retirement area in the United States by bizjournals.com.

In a story written by G. Scott Thomas, the Web site claims the senior population has increased by 45 percent between 2000 and 2005, nine times the national growth rate.
