New clues in jewelry store robbery

Three men have been identified as suspects in the robbery of JP Chadom Jewelers on Kingsbury Grade on Aug. 28, according to Investigator Dennis Slater of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the three men at banks in Reno, San Francisco and Eugene, Ore., in September. The three men all used the same name and identification when they accessed the same Wells Fargo bank account, according to Slater.

The same name and identification were used in San Francisco and Portland at pawn shops to pawn jewelry from JP Chadom. The person whose identity had been stolen has been ruled out as a suspect, Slater said.

The person who robbed JP Chadom Jewelers is suspected of committing at least three other robberies or attempted robberies, Slater said. The gunman was described as being in his mid-20s with brown hair and brown eyes.

Secret Witness is offering a reward for the identification and prosecution of the suspect/suspects pictured. Call 782-7463.
