Woodfords volunteer firefighters are responding to a wildland fire between upper and lower Blue Lake in Alpine County.
Two large tree stumps near the shore are fully engulfed according to the report.
The fires were allegedly started at about 4:15 p.m. by people who were stuck. No structures are reported in danger.
