Tage and Birthe Tovlum are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 18, 1942, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and in 1949 they immigrated to America.
They have two daughters, Katie and Anna, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Tovlum worked for the aerospace industry for most of his life until he retired. Two years ago they moved to Minden to be closer to their family.
The couple has traveled the world extensively and are planning another Honeymoon trip in November. Their daughters will be hosting a family dinner to celebrate and honor their parents.
