Mu Master and Xi Alpha Zeta chapters of Carson Valley Beta Sigma Phi host the annual Beginning Day event for Beta chapters in Carson Valley and Carson City.
Beginning Day ushers in the new sorority year with a fashion show, appetizer buffet and raffle drawings, 1 p.m. Aug. 26 at David Walley's Resort, Hot Springs & Spa.
Fashions provided by Cowboys & Angels of Genoa. Models include Marsha Bangert, Lynn Owens, Betty Kaminski and Bev Daub from Xi Alpha Zeta Chapter and Betty Larrouy, Lucy Corliss, Bonnie Jones and Barbara Yocum from Mu Master Chapter.
