Body identified as Minden pilot

The victim of a glider crash was identified as Robert Loyns, 56, of Minden, by the Mono County Sheriff's Office.

Loyns' body was found with the wreckage of his glider in the White Mountains near Boundary Peak.

Mono County searchers have been looking for Loyns since he was last heard from on Friday. Investigation into the crash is being conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
