Michelle (Pisciotta) Wallace

A memorial service for Michelle (Pisciotta) Wallace, 44, a Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Carson Valley Christian Center, 1095 Stephanie Way, Minden, in the small south building.

Mrs. Wallace died Sept. 25, 2005, at Stanford Hospital from complications following a liver transplant nine months ago.

She was born Sept. 16, 1961, in Oxnard, Calif. She grew up in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park, Calif., and later settled in Carson City.

She enjoyed NASCAR races, playing Keno, traveling, room service, spending time with her family, Janis Joplin, snow, the holidays and her dog Homer.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Mary Pisciotta and a nephew Billy Marsh.

Among her survivors are her husband of 16 years, Jay; parents Joe and Kathy Pisciotta of Yreka, Calif., and Dorothea Pisciotta (Ben) of Carson City; sisters Joleen Pisciotta (Farmer) of Yreka, Carla Ferrigno (Tony) of Carson City and DeEtte Nelson (Eric) of Lodi, Calif.; brothers Dion Machell (Michelle) of Carson City and Rick Marsh (Karen) of Ontario, Calif., and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and her best friend, Lily Carroll.
