Alden W. Davidson, 69, an 11-year Gardnerville resident, died Sept. 15, 2005, in Carson City.
Mr. Davidson was was born Dec. 1, 1935 in Wilmington, Del., to Willis Van and Flossie Davidson.
He married Kris O. Davidson in 1978.
Mr. Davidson was career military, serving in the U.S. Army from 1953-1958. He joined the Navy in 1965, retiring in 1986 as a command master chief. He served in Korea and Vietnam on board USS Enterprise, USS Mars, USS Cacapon and WSS Wabash.
He enjoyed traveling and was a loving husband and father.
Among his survivors are his wife of Gardnerville, daughter and son-in-law Melissa and German Davidson-Gamboa of Tampa, Fla.; sons Shaun of Tampa and Michael of Reno.
A private family gathering will be held.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
