The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association announced on Thursday that Mackay Stadium will be the host of this year's state soccer and football championship games.
The class 1A, 2A and 3A state football title games will be played on Nov. 19 at Mackay Stadium, with the class 4A game set for Dec. 3. All of the state football games will be played at Mackay as long as there is one Northern Nevada team playing.
Four championship soccer games will be held on Nov. 12 at Mackay. The 3A girls state title game will be held at 10 a.m., the 3A boys state title game will be at noon, the 4A boys state title game will be at 2 p.m. and the Northern 4A girls championship game will be at 4 p.m.
The 3A boys and girls state semifinals will be held Nov. 11 at North Valleys. The 4A state boys semifinals will be held Nov. 11 at Carson High. The Northern 4A girls semifinals will be held Nov. 5 at Carson.
