A funeral for Carl Dewain Turtle, 33, a Carson City resident, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Carson Colony Gym in Carson City.
Viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mr. Turtle died Sept. 19, 2005, in Reno.
He was born Feb. 24, 1972, in Schurz, to William Ralph and Aleena Arnot Turtle.
Mr. Turtle worked as a chef.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his sons Gage Boyd Parriette and Seth Colby Turtle; their mother, Melanie Parriette; his mother and husband, Aleena and Lornzo Rednose; sisters Eldalena Turtle and Faith Turtle and brothers Boyd and Jeff, all of Carson City; and many nieces, nephews and extended-family members.
Burial will be at the Stewart Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
