A celebration of life for Janet Leslie Fisher, 56, a Gardnerville resident for the past nine months, will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 16, at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 1644 Highway 395, in Minden.
Mrs. Fisher died Sept. 16, 2005, at Washoe Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 16, 1948, in Los Angeles, to James and Janet Bose.
She graduated from high school.
She married Donald Fisher in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Bishop, Calif.
Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband of Gardnerville; son, Steve of Sparks; brothers Robin of San Bernardino, Calif., and Ron of Tucson, Ariz.; and extended-family members.
