Kenneth W. Hembrough

A celebration of life for Kenneth W. Hembrough, 44, a Silver Springs resident for the past 25 years, will be at 3 p.m. Sept. 24 at Crossroads Christian Family Fellowship, 5935 Apache Drive, Stagecoach, with the Rev. Gretchen Penaluna officiating.

Mr. Hembrough died Sept. 14, 2005, in Silver Springs.

He was born July 20, 1961, in Castro Valley, Calif., to Wayne F. and Lillian Greengo Hembrough.

He attended Halcyon Elementary School and then continued his education at a private school in San Lorenzo, Calif.

Before moving to Silver Springs, he lived in San Leandro, Calif.

He enjoyed crocheting, drawing and playing the drums.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Among his survivors are his nephew and wife Robert "B" and Lucy Hembrough and their children of Stagecoach; mother Lillian Hansen of Silver Springs; sisters Linda Monroe of South Fork, Colo., Donna Hembrough of Silver Springs and Paulette Gilkerson of Hayward, Calif.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
