Dontae Clay ran for 165 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn't enough for the Rite of Passage football team, which lost to Northern 2A power Battle Mountain 43-21 on Friday in a league contest.
Tyrie Green ran for 46 yards and a score on six carries and Zayid Wolfe rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on five carries for ROP, which rolled up 347 yards on the ground.
Defensively, Anthony Broadus had nine tackles and a sack, Martell Dixon, Emanuel Mendez and Wolfe all had seven tackles, Johnathan Williams had six tackles and Steve Davis and David Wilson each added a sack for ROP (1-1, 1-1).
