Carson High graduate Sarah Stalling and the Southwestern Community College women's soccer team of Coos Bay, Ore., are off to a strong start.
Southwestern is 3-0 and Stalling has played a major role in all three wins. In the College of the Redwoods Tournament in Eureka, Calif., Stalling scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Redwoods and then assisted on the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Mendocino.
Stalling also contributed to all three goals, scoring twice and assisting on the other goal in a 3-1 win over Clark of Vancouver, Wash.
