Viola C. Kenny, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 36 years, died Sept. 7, 2005, in Carson City. She was born March 12, 1914, in Stinar, Neb.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Northern California.
She graduated from high school.
Mrs. Kenny was a homemaker. She traveled all over the world with her husband, a career naval officer. She was a member of St. Teresa Avila Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her husband, Howard, of Carson City and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
