Phyllis Carol Zumbro, 72, a Carson City resident for the past 39 years, died Oct. 3, 2005, at Evergreen Health Center.
She was born Aug. 11, 1933 in Wichita, Kan., to William C. and Elvera Clark Pool.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived at South Lake Tahoe.
Mrs. Zumbro enjoyed sewing and baking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete, on Oct. 2, 1989.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Michael and Darla of Carson City; daughter Carol Fahsbender of South Lake Tahoe; sisters Bernie Pear of California and Pat Evans of Washington and grandchildren Jeffrey, Jacob Zumbro, Ethan Fahsbender and Weston Dexter.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
