George Wessel, 84, a Dayton resident for the past 12 years, died Nov. 5, 2005, at Evergreen Mountain View Care Center.
He was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Cincinnati.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Encino, Calif.
Mr. Wessel was a carpenter and cabinetmaker.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie, on Dec. 25, 1994, in Encino, Calif.
Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, George and Cheri of Dayton; and best friend, Bill Biel of Carson City.
No service will be held. Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
