A service for Harry C. Simon, 78, a Dayton resident for the past year, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at 227 La Costa Ave., Dayton.
Mr. Simon died Oct. 16, 2005, at his home. He was born Jan. 14, 1927, in Oakland, Calif., to Henry and Maria Simon.
He married Ingeborg Watson in 2000 in Reno.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Blairsdon, Calif.
Mr. Simon was a warehouseman for a title company. He was a member of the Dayton Valley Community Church, Church of the Nazarene.
He served in the merchant marines.
Among her survivors are his wife of Dayton; sister Else Dahinden and extended family members Donna Burke and Erick Dahinden.
