New photo galleries, and our open house tonight

We launched our new photo gallery service today, which we hope will help our readers in a couple of ways.

For one, it gives us a way to put a large number of photos online, many more than you would see in the paper.

And, it also gives you an easy way to order reprints of photos online, and have theme sent directly to you.

Right now, we only have a couple of galleries, of the Waterfall Fire and Carson High Prom. But you'll be seeing more galleries in the coming weeks.

Also, a reminder that the Nevada Appeal is hosting an open house tonight. There will be food, wine, live music and tours of our facility. Stop by if you have the chance.
