Bowman belts two home runs

Carson High graduate Willie Bowman hit his first two home runs of the year on Friday for the UNLV baseball team in a 20-1 win at Air Force.

Bowman hit a two-run home run and a solo shot in going 2-for-3 for the Rebels (23-24, 17-5 in the Moutain West Conference). After struggling for part of the season, Bowman, a 2004 CHS graduate and a freshman, has been hot of late and has raised his average to .234 (15-for-64).
