A memorial service for Sharon Silva, 57, a Carson City resident for the past year, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Silva died March 20, 2005, in Carson City. She was born May 6, 1947, in San Mateo, Calif., to Harvey A. and Alvina Sprowl.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Haywood, Calif.
Mrs. Silva was a caregiver with Helping Angels in Carson City. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and working crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1980.
Among her survivors are her mother of Carson City; sister, Pam Shelton of Dayton; and brothers Gary Sprowl of Sunnyvale, Calif., Robert Sprowl of Alaska and H.A. Sprowl of Dayton.
