A memorial service for Kevin Jeffrey Welsh, 19, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
Mr. Welsh died March 18, 2005. He was born Nov. 30, 1985, in Naperville, Ill., to Jeffrey and Jennifer Welsh.
He lived in Chicago before moving to Gardnerville four years ago.
He attended Douglas High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Woody Welsh of Naperville.
Survivors include his mother of Gardnerville; father of Yorkville, Ill.; grandparents Rosemary Driscoll of Aurora, Ill., John Driscoll of Minden and Peggy Welsh of Yorkville; sisters Meghan and Lexi; brother, Jacob; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions can be made to Jennifer Welsh at 1339 Kimmerling Road, Unit A, Gardnerville.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
