The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Jaime Antonio Martinez, 32, a maintenance worker from Carson City, was arrested at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, preventing a victim from reporting a crime and second-offense domestic battery. He is being held without bail by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
• A 50-year-old Carl's Jr., employee was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Country Village Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.
• Valentina Sarabia, 26, of Carson City, was arrested Monday in the 2300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of 25 counts of felony uttering a forged check, possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $100,000.
n Deputies responded to the following calls:
• Wheels were stolen from a vehicle sometime Monday night in the 3400 block of Lompa Lane.
• A leather jacket was stolen from a motel room in the 1900 block of North Carson Street sometime Monday.
