A funeral service for June E. Jakway, 70, a Carson City resident for 27 years, will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Ms. Jakway died March 3, 2005, in Carson City.
She was born June 2, 1934, to Arthur and Randenna Walters in Rice Lake, Wis. She previously lived in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Ms. Jakway was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing bridge with several groups.
Ms. Jakway was preceded in death by a brother and sister and her parents.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Michele and Larry Morasse of Reno, and Jennifer and Shadi Sanbar of Los Angeles; grandchildren Valerie Morasse and Jonathan, Sarah and Alicia Sanbar.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
