A funeral for Ruth Eunice Sanchez, 77, a lifetime Carson City resident, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's.
Mrs. Sanchez died July 25, 2005, at her home.
She was born April 5, 1928 in Nevada, to Charles and Rubell Sallee Miller.
Mrs. Sanchez worked in the housekeeping department at the Ormsby House for many years and also at the Topaz Lodge.
She was a surgical nurse's aide at Mercy Hospital in Sacramento. She was active in her church.
She was preceded in death by brothers Barney, Gilbert, Harold and Irving Miller and sisters Helen Williams and Evelyn Miller.
Among her survivors are sister Roberta Phoenix of Sutcliffe and numerous nieces, grandnieces and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
