Hunting seasons open on Aug. 6

Here is what will be happening, soon, in the Nevada hunting world:

• Aug. 6 - Opening day of the archery antelope (horns longer than ears) hunting season in management area No. 033 (Early). This season will close on Aug. 19.

• Aug. 6 - Opening day of the archery antelope (horns longer than ears) hunting season in all applicable management areas, except No. 033. This season will close on Aug. 21.

• Aug. 6 - Opening day of the archery antlerless elk hunting season in all applicable management areas. This season will close on Aug. 26.

• Aug. 6 - Opening day of the "Any Legal Weapon" antlered elk depredation hunting season in management area Nos. 101-104. This season will close on Oct. 30.
