Jean Hitchcock, 76, a Newburg, N.D., resident for the past three years, died July 9, 2005, in Battle Mountain. She was born April 19, 1929, in Bottineau, N.D.
Prior to moving to Newburg, Mrs. Hitchcock lived in Carson City for several years. She was retired from the Nevada Parole and Probation Department. She attended Wesleyan Church-Good Shepherd in Carson City.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
A memorial service will be in Newburg at a later date.
Albertson Funeral Home in Winnemucca is in charge of arrangements.
