Jean Marie Davis McCarthy Brown McDonald, 78, a local area resident for the past 13 years, died Jan. 25, 2005, at Evergreen Carson City.
She was born July 27, 1926, in Canton, Ohio, to Russell and Ruby Boron Davis.
Before moving to this area, she lived in Los Angeles.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Louis Coca and grandson and wife Luis III and Veronica Coca, all of Carson City; grandson and wife Russell and Kelly Brown; great-granddaughters Cierra and Kyra of Gardnerville and Lani and Pantera Coca of Gardena, Calif.; and great-grandson, Kelley Coca of Sparks.
A scattering of her ashes will be in the spring.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
