Wildlife of Africa at Carson Nugget

By Don Quilici

The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA), a local organization for hunters and fishermen, will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Carson Nugget Convention Center.

This will be the sportsmen's club first regular indoor meeting of the new year.

It meets on the third Tuesday of each month for the months of January-May, and in the months of October and November.

On Tuesday, the evening's guest speaker will be Carol Bailey who will present a color slide show on the wildlife of Africa.

She is a world-class, award-winning color photographer who has taken many trips to such places as Africa, Alaska and Point Churchill to capture their wildlife on film.

All of the OSA meetings and functions are free of charge.

They are open to all club members and to anyone else who is interested in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, etc.

The annual membership dues are $5 for adults and $2 for youngsters under the age of 16.

For OSA information, call either President Jack Cooke at 882-8556 or Past President Norm Budden at 884-0348.
