Walter G. Dear, 89, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, died Feb. 22, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1915, in Michigan to Harold and Belle Lane Dear.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Fallon, coming from Incline Village.
Mr. Dear was a personnel administrator in the automotive industry. He enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, in 2003.
Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law Rae and Evaann Dear of Carson City.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
