Ronald L. Manning, 71, of Roanoke, Va., died Feb. 18, 2005.
Mr. Manning is a former Carson City resident and retired from AT&T after 27 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his parents Kellie and Mary Manning; brothers Kellie Jr. and Bob.
Among his survivors are his wife of 37 years Gloria; sons David and Ronnie; daughter Marla Manning and grandchildren Cory and Briana Manning.

Oakey's Vinton Chapel in Roanoke is in charge of arrangements.
