Crimes

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 24-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Drive and Roop Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,000. Also arrested was a 21-year-old foreman from Carson City on a Fallon warrant for suspicion of misdemeanor theft. Bail was set at $622.

• Cory O'Neal Brewer, 21, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 1:37 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Broadleaf Lane on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon, misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence and possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $7,632. Also arrested was Ricky Boone Roberts, 30, a construction worker from Carson City, on suspicion of felony carrying a concealed weapon, gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. No bail was set.

• Robin Jean Stricklin, 23, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. at Fifth and Carson streets on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, three counts of misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $4,364. Also arrested was Steven Chan, 28, unemployed of Carson City, on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of hypodermic needle. Bail was set at $3,632.

• Dennis Wayne Webster, 34, of Carson City was arrested at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice for a Yuba County, Calif., warrant. No bail was set.

- Deputies responded to the following calls:

• A black-and-gray 1986 Ford Bronco with Nevada plates was stolen sometime Wednesday from the 1800 block of Alpine Street.

• A woman waited for police outside her garage Wednesday at 9 p.m. after finding boxes disturbed in the 1500 block of Telegraph Street. She eventually remembered pest control was due to visit and was probably responsible for the moved items.

• Several employees of a hair salon on North Carson Street bought bogus calling cards from a person Wednesday.

• A crying 3-year-old boy was found wandering around a College Parkway apartment complex Wednesday. The boy was too young to give his name. Forty-seven minutes later, the boy was reunited with his mother.
