Crime log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty:

• A 34-year-old landscaper from Denver was arrested at 2 a.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

• A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 9:50 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of West King Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.

• Don Hoats, 41, a transient, was arrested at 3:43 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Jacobsen Way on suspicion of felony embezzlement. Bail was set at $15,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A mother reported at 8:27 a.m. Tuesday she last saw her 23-year-old daughter in August.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Accident at Ramsey-Weeks Cutoff and Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 7:30 a.m.

• Destruction of property report in the 200 block of Pearl Street at 9:24 a.m.

• Juvenile problem at Fernley Intermediate School at 9:53 a.m.

• Fire on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 11:32 a.m.

• Arson report in the 5700 block of Spruce Avenue at Silver Stage Middle School.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A school bus was having brake problems on State Route 341 at 7:40 a.m. The driver stopped and waited for other transportation to arrive.

• Cinnamon, a female dachschund/German short-hair mix, was missing from her home on Panamint Drive in the Virginia City Highlands at 8:32 a.m.

• Concrete and checks were reportedly stolen from Avenue of the Colors at 1:26 p.m.

• A bike was stolen from Lockwood at 5:56 p.m.
