Donna Lauder


A funeral for Donna Lauder, 65, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 9 a.m. Aug. 27 in Orem, Utah.

Mrs. Lauder died Aug. 9, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Aug. 10, 1939, in Fresno, Calif., to Donald Calhoun and Alda Schutz Lauder.

She received a bachelor of arts degree.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Fresno and in Orem.

Mrs. Lauder was a teacher for more than 30 years. She sang in many choirs and was a talented oil painter, an avid reader and a genealogist. She enjoyed going to the mountains and the beach.

She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints more than 37 years ago and remained an active member.

Among her survivors are her children Denise, Brad, Christine and Beckie; 12 grandchildren and sister, Debbie Anderson.

Burial will be at the Orem City Cemetery.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
