A graveside service for Karl J. Christenson, 71, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
Mr. Christenson died Aug. 14, 2005, at home. He was born Nov. 20, 1933, in Iowa, to Francis Kenneth and Mary Annette Rude Christenson.
He married Myrna Noble.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in California.
Mr. Christenson worked as an engineer for an aerospace company.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Among his survivors are his wife, son Kenneth L. and daughter and son-in-law Debra and Richard Senate, all of Carson City; grandchildren Kyle, Sarah and Megan; and great-grandchild, Jazmyne.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
