James M. "Jim" Baer, 33, a Carson City resident for the past three years, died Aug. 12, 2005, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 18, 1972, in Chicago to Art and Pat Brown Baer.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in the Chicago area.
Mr. Baer was a high school graduate.
He was a machinist.
Among his survivors are his parents and brother, Dan, all of Carson City.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
