Milton A. Proskey

A celebration of life for Milton A. Proskey, 83, a Carson City resident for the past 32 years, will be at 1 p.m. May 7, at the family home, 1009 Rolando Way.

Mr. Proskey died April 25, 2005, at his home.

He was born May 10, 1921, in San Francisco to Ladamir and Celia Proskey.

He married Phyllis Jacoboni June 8, 1946, in Martinez, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived at Lake Tahoe.

Mr. Proskey was a World War II veteran.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin in 1998.

Among his survivors are his wife of 58 years; and daughter and son-in-law Toni and Mike Baxter, grandson, Jason Proskey and great-granddaughter, Melody Proskey, all of Carson City.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
