Harley Pinney

A funeral Mass for Harley Pinney, 72, a Minden resident for the past 17 years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.

Visitation will begin at 9:15 a.m. Friday at St. Gall.

Mr. Pinney died April 14, 2005, at home.

He was born June 13, 1932, in Huntington Park, Calif., to George M. and Margaret Pinney.

He married Theresa A. Pinney in 1964.

Before moving to Minden, he lived in Carson City for 15 years.

Mr. Pinney was a real estate investor. He was a Catholic and a member of St. Gall.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bhett in 1989.

Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; daughters and sons-in-law Teri and Kevin Plett of Napa, Calif., and Candis and Hank George of Redding, Calif.; grandchildren Jeremy York, John Talsky, Joseph Talsky and Ashley George; and one great-grandchild.

Burial will be in the Eastside Memorial Cemetery in Minden.
