Paul Henry Emmerich

A celebration of life for Paul Henry Emmerich, 76, a Carson City resident for the past five years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Chapel, 1744 Forrest Way, Carson City.

An evening of respect will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Mr. Emmerich died April 9, 2005, in Carson City.

He was born Feb. 4, 1929, in Baltimore to John and Antoinette Emmerich.

Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Emmerich lived in Las Vegas for 36 years.

Mr. Emmerich was a professional photographer.

He was a Christian.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948.

He was preceded in death by his son Gary.

Among his survivors are his wife of 53 years, Carol of Carson City; son Brad of Maui, Hawaii; daughters Cindy Ashworth of Las Vegas and Kelly Propster of Carson City; and grandchildren Matthew, Justin and Cassidy Ashworth of Las Vegas, Alexandra and Casaundra Propster and Britannia (Propster) Ward, all of Carson City, and Erin, Ethan, Jessa and Sara Emmerich of Maui.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
