A memorial service for Charlotte Penuel, 61, a Yerington resident for the past 26 years, will be at 1 p.m. today at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
Mrs. Penuel died April 8, 2005, in Yerington. She was born Sept. 27, 1943, in Randsburg, Calif., to Herbert and Agnes Meyer Tucker.
She received an associate of arts degree from Western Nevada Community College in business.
Mrs. Penuel was a secretary for the Lyon County School District for 16 years, retiring in June 2004.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Debbie Stribling of Hawaii; companion, Ed Trimming of Yerington; sisters Margie Clark of Bishop, Calif., and Diane Castle of Dayton; two grandchildren; three nieces; four nephews; and one uncle.
Cremation will be at the funeral home.

Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
