Crimes

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 51-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 1:59 a.m. Thursday at a Highway 50 East casino on suspicion of contempt of court. Bail was set at $3,000.

• Jose Juarez-Navaro, 31, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested Thursday in the 400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, a warrant for auto theft, providing false identification to avoid prosecution and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $18,632.

• A 35-year-old sales representative from Carson City was arrested at 11:09 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of North Curry Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to stop at a stop sign, driving on a revoked license, expired license plates and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $1,538.

• Cheron Lynn Schoeppler, 32, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor obstructing an investigation and resisting with violence. Bail was set at $3,932.

• Steve Castro, 43, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Green Court on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor obstructing an investigation and trespassing. Bail was set at $3,142.

• Melissa Faye Jetton, 31, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Mountain Street on suspicion of felony child endangerment and a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant.

- Deputies responded to the following calls:

• A vehicle struck a parked car in the 1700 block of Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday at 7:21 p.m.

• A window was broken in the 1200 block of Goldfield Drive on Wednesday at 8:26 p.m.
