A memorial for Xixi Ma, 47, a Carson City resident for the past eight years, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
She died March 31, 2005 in Auburn, Calif., as a result of an automobile accident. Her son, Steven Chen, was also killed in the accident.
She was born May 3, 1957, in Changsha, China, to Kai Ma and Zhi Qing Wang.
She married Beiyi Chen April 27, 1992 in Las Vegas. Prior to living in Carson City, she lived in Richmond, Calif.
Among her survivors are her husband; parents Kai Ma and Zhi Qing Wang of China; and sisters Yue Hong Ma of Changsha and Ji Hong of Sidney, Australia.
Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
