A memorial Mass for Teresa Marie Deniz, 75, a Genoa and Minden area resident, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gall Catholic Church.
Mrs. Deniz died Dec. 7, 2004, in Carson City. She was born April 13, 1929, in Porterville, Calif., to Marcello and Susanna Hurtado Munoz.
She attended high school in Porterville.
Before moving to this area, she lived in Monterey Peninsula, Calif., for 40 years.
She married Frank Deniz on Feb. 21, 1949, in California.
Mrs. Deniz was a licensed vocational nurse and worked at nursing homes. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Community.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and two great-grandchildren.
Among her survivors are her husband of 55 years of Genoa; son and daughter-in-law, Frank III and Jackie of Seaside, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Delores M. and Gerald Ward of Monterey; son Walter Cuneo of Genoa; seven grandchildren; seven-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gall Catholic Church Memorial Fund.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
