Obituary: Alice M. Alexander

A memorial service for Alice M. Alexander, 90, a Dayton resident for the past 16 years, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton.

Mrs. Alexander died Oct. 20, 2003, at Dayton Parkview Adult Residence. She was born April 20, 1913, in Gardnerville to Henry and Minnie Meyer Rosenbrock.

Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Bakersfield, Calif.

Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Alexander; brother, Henry Rosenbrock; and sisters Elda Whaley, Greta Rosenbrock and Barbara Idiart.

Among her survivors are her sister Betty Azparren of Reno; nieces Jeanette Blanco of Gardnerville and Patricia Rosenbrock of Bimidji, Minn.; and nephew John Rosenbrock of California.

Private inurnment will be at the Garden Cemetery in Gardnerville.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
