Visitation for Verna Mae Reimus, 76, a Yerington resident for the past 22 years, will be from 1-5 p.m. today at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington.
There will be a service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hotchkiss Mortuary in Tracy, Calif. , with visitation at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Reimus died Sept. 26, 2003, at her home in Yerington. She was born Dec. 1, 1926, in Modesto, Calif., to William and Pearl Latimer.
She married Clifford Huckabee Aug. 24, 1943.
She married Robert Reimus in 1981 and they moved to Yerington.
Mrs. Reimus was a school bus driver in Tracy, Calif., until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by both husbands and son David.
Among her survivors are her daughter Genia Hale of Tracy; grandchildren Ron and Janie Hale of Tracy and David and Julie Hale of Manteca, Calif., Rebecca DeVaney of Avondale, Ariz., Ray and Jennifer Lee of Cold Springs, Calif.; brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Nathelda Latimer of Victorville, Calif., and Bob and Suzette Latimer of Willits, Calif., and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the family plot at the Tracy Cemetery.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
