Carson High's Scott DeFriez and Aaron Henry, Douglas High's Bryan Miller and Galena's Rod Scurry and Brian Evans will all be featured in the sixth annual Kelley Baseball Showcase.
The three-game series, matching the top seniors-to-be from Northern and Southern Nevada will be held May 31 and June 1 at Reno High. One game will be held at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, with a doubleheader set to begin at noon Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and free for 10 and under.
The North squad also includes Garrett Banks, Jeff Schoenbachler, Ryan Simpson, Jake Johnson, Steve Mays and Drew Johnson of Reno; Jake McGee and Ryan Hill of Reed; J.P. Tye and Owen MacKedon of Fallon; Fernando Benitez and Iain Dykins of Wooster; and Marcus McKinnon of South Tahoe.
All proceeds benefit the Truckee Meadows Boys & Girls Club.
