A funeral for Carol J. Ballard, 71, of Dayton will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Ballard died March 11, 2003, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Danville, Ill.
He married Marvin Ballard Sept. 13, 1969, in Simi Valley, Calif., and they moved to Dayton in 1984.
Mrs. Ballard was the former owner and operator of the Ballard Inn at Incline Village.
She was preceded in death by her sons Michael, John and David Donnelly; four brothers; and three sisters.
Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; son, James Donnelly of Lake Isabella, Calif.; daughter, Pat Fleitas of Dayton; three brothers; two sisters; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
