Wenford Randolph Luttrell

A funeral for Wenford Randolph Luttrell, 80, a Minden resident for the past 35 years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from noon-3 p.m. Sunday and from 9 -11 a.m. Monday at Walton's.

Mr. Luttrell died Dec. 9, 2003, in Minden. He was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Granite, Okla., to Hugh and Naomi Harkin Luttrell.

Mr. Luttrell worked as a lineman for Sierra Pacific Power Co. for many years. He was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge of Carson City and a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Pauline.

Among his survivors are his daughters Rita Smith of Minden, Joetta Graves of Carson City and Eileen Luttrell of Reno; brother, Nathan of Carson City; seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to Barton Hospice of the Valley.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
