Obituary for Robert "Bob" E. Boucher

A memorial service for Robert "Bob" E. Boucher, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. A reception will follow at JT's Basque Restaurant.

Mr. Boucher died Nov. 27, 2002, at Churchill Community Hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Gentry, Ark., to Mederick and Bertha Early Boucher.

He had lived in Lovelock, Fallon and Carson City since 1969.

Mr. Boucher was retired from the restaurant business.

He served in the U.S. Army for more than nine years. He was a decorated World War II veteran and served in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy.

Among his survivors are his stepson and wife, James and Alicia Gifford of Reno; sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Lisa Boucher of Fallon and Phil and Leslie Boucher of Pioche; daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Kenneth Adams of Pioche, Julie and Donald West of Caliente and Roberta and David Cowles of Wardner, Idaho; brothers Mederick of Paris, Calif., Albert of Redmond, Ore., Donald of Medford, Ore. and Jerry of Yuma, Ariz.; grandchildren Leah, Michelle, Nathan, Kenna, Jordan, Angenyn, Phillip, Cheyenne, Jeremy, Alyson, David and Jason; and great-grandchildren Baylee, Canada, David and Jessie.

Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
